Came here originally on a Saturday when one lens popped out of the frame of my glasses and I needed an emergency... repair--Amin was incredibly kind, considerate and patient with me both on the phone when I called to ask and when I came in for the repairs. Glasses were well-cleaned and fixed up good as new! A few months later after doing my eye exam, I decided to come in to order a new pair. Amin explained my options clearly to me, answered all my questions about my options, and was really understanding of my budget. Thank you so much for all your help!! This place is phenomenal. I came here because I read good reviews and my expectations were fulfilled. The service I... recieved was great. At previous optometrists, I felt I was being pressured...but here, they truly want you to get the best glasses suited for you, at a price that is suited to your budget! They are patient, honest, kind, and willing to help. The doctor was also very truthful and made the eye test experience very smooth. He is clearly passionate about his work and he cares about patients eye safety. Do visit this place.read more

Wonderful customer service from Amin, the owner/optician. He was very kind, patient, and thorough. They also have very... fashionable frames, many high-end glasses as well. Glad I chose this location to do my eye exam. The optometrist was also nice and knowledgeable. Will be back here for future eye exams or the next time I need glasses! Highly recommended!read more

Went in with my husband to get a new frame and lenses; Dr. Amin was very informative, patient and kind towards us; it was our first time at an optician in Waterloo and there are not enough words to adequately describe the genuine care and incredible service we received. We were scattering around town to find some prescription sunglasses as soon as possible and we called Premier and they... told us they would do their best to get them on time within a couple days (which is pretty crazy) we were amazed when just two days later they were in and fit amazing and prescription was on point. Definitely recommend this place! The gentleman there is just so kind and friendly that has helped me twice with my nose... pads and FOR FREE. I volunteered to pay him for the niceeee service but he kindly refused. It definitely worths a visit if you are looking for glasses or having any issues per your own glasses! That’s why I’m not even surprised when all ratings are 5 stars for this shop! Again, RECOMMEND this place!read more

I purchased a pair of glasses at Premier. The service was excellent, and the owner was very helpful in guiding me... through the decisions regarding frame and lens choices. He is very knowledgeable about his products. It was impressive to see the computer controlled machine cutting my lens to precisely match the frames. They have decent collection of mostly all brands. Compared to other places they had provided the best deal exactly upto... my budget with type of glasses i was looking for. I went to check the collection with no mind to buy one but eventually end up buying one as they got really amazing collection and over the top they were offering discounts on all. I decided to get a pair of contact lenses for the first time and I had an amazing experience at Premier Optical. First... of all, the owner is amazing!!! He really takes his time to explain, guide and recommend the right pair of contact lenses for you. As a first time contacts owner, I had a difficult time putting on and removing the lenses, but he took his time to guide me through the process. He even gave me another pair of different contact lenses so that I can compare and choose the right one based on my comfort. The service is impeccable here! I went to Premier Optical to get my glasses nose pads fixed and not only did they fix... them for free, but they also readjusted them to fit onto my nose comfortably! Shop is right across the street from the university so it's super convenient if you study or work at U Waterloo. Amin... was super friendly. The shop has a large selection of frames, but with his help, choosing the right ones for my budget was easy. Everything was fast as well. He booked me for the eye examination on the same day and had my glasses ready in less than a week. I even got an extra bottle of cleaning fluid for the lenses as a courtesy. Overall, very happy with my purchase. It just feels great to support a family owned, local business with nice selection and friendly staff.read more

The eye exam went very smoothly and I'm very happy with the glasses and contact lenses I bought! Amin spent over an... hour helping me pick out a new frame and explaining to me the different types of lenses available, which was super helpful especially because my prescription is quite high. Additionally, he was super accommodating with shipping my purchases to my new address, and kept in touch to ensure I was happy with my purchase. COVID-19 protections were also well done; everyone was wearing masks the entire time and constantly sanitizing everything. I'd highly recommend them!read more
